Conical shells; Rigid body modes; Conditions on the axis
Abstract :
[en] The classical approach of the shell theory proceeds as follows. After an exact development of the strain expressions, one neglects any term containing the factor h/R. But this method destruct the exact representation of rigid body modes. An alternative to this procedure is presented here, where special care is given to the preservation of the rigid body modes. The second part of this report is focused on the necessary conditions on the displacements on the axis. This study is based on the fact that the strains have to remain finite values.
