Abstract :
[en] Alterations of anorectal functions (constipation and fecal incontinence) are very frequent in the elderly. The patient's global evaluation with his past medical history, comorbidities, medications, as well as social environment and physical dependence, is more than ever necessary in this high risk population to guide the explorations and the medical care of these disorders.
