[en] SNOMED- CT is is a concept-oriented and machine-readable medical terminology which has gained popularity this last ten years. It has been proposed as the reference terminology for use in electronic medical records and is supposed to cover the entire field needed to care and cure. This paper is examining its complexity and ability to cover the fields of general practice/family medicine, presented as the focus point of information in medicine.
