Abstract :
[en] Hemoreactivity of the poly (2-(dimethylamino) ethylmethacrylate) polymer (PDMAEMA) under a free form (thus not as a “PolyElectrolyte Complex”) was assessed. In order to facilitate the in vitro monitoring of this polycation and especially to follow its reactivity blood we have labeled it with fluorescein adopting a new chemical route of synthesis. Unexpectedly, using flow cytometry, this study showed a higher affinity of PDMAEMA for platelets than for red blood cells.
