Abstract :
[en] A study was undertaken at Liege amongst a group of former prisoners of war hospitalised for chronic somatic problems. In addition to a sociological history and standardised clinical discussion, it involved the application of tests and the measurement of electrodermal activity. These are the relationships and correlations between psychometric data and the results of electrodermography which are reported by C. Mormont, above all with the aim of posing the general question as to whether the link between E.D.A. on the one hand and secondly emotivity and intellectual efficiency is simple. The discussion, chaired by Prof. Heimann, after a number of questions concerning details of the study, centres around two main questions : firstly technical problems, centres are felt to be of fundamental importance to certain participants, and secondly the electrodermogram which cannot apparently be considered as an "affectogram".
