Abstract :
[en] In this presentation, I have tried to outline the main features of Article 31 of the Succession Regulation (Reg. 650/2012). The focus is on two main questions : when may a Member State apply Article 31 and how should a Member State apply this provision? In order to attempt to answer these questions, I first offer some suggestions on how to construe Article 31.
