Abstract :
[es] En el presente trabajo se analizan las traducciones de obras de literatura policial en dos períodos de la historia argentina del siglo XX: hacia el centenario (1910) y durante el primer peronismo (1946-1955). La hipótesis que se sostiene es que las funciones y los usos de tales traducciones en el sistema literario argentino fueron dependientes de la respectiva configuración del poder político y de la posición que mantuvieron las élites culturales en relación con este poder político. [en] Translation of detective fiction is here examined in two periods of 20th c. Argentine history: close to the Argentina centennial (1910), and during the first period of Peronism (1946-1955). The hypothesis advanced is that the functions and uses of these translations in the Argentine literary system were dependent of the corresponding configuration of political power, and of the position assumed by the cultural élites towards this political power.
