Abstract :
[en] The aging of the cardiovascular system leads to an increased incidence of hypertension, coronary artery disease and ischemic stroke. Since cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in patients > or = 70 years old, prevention seems crucial for improving quality of life and reducing medical costs. In this article we present some aspects of cardiovascular prevention in elderly patients.
