[en] The experience of gardens is often analyzed in function of the views the garden affords. The actual walk leading to the views is treated as secondary. Yet the views cannot be experienced without the walk. The paper presents the paradigm of “panorama and labyrinth” to offer an analysis of both aspects of the experience of a garden.
