[en] This paper is an introduction to the volume "Lexical Semantics in Ancient Egyptian". The aim of this volume is to address methodological issues touching upon several domains of Ancient Egyptian lexical semantics that are likely to enhance and enrich future lexicographical studies. The orientation of this volume is primarily lexicological and not lexicographical.
