Abstract :
[en] A review of the Greek and Egyptian sources showing the deceased and divinized queen Arsinoe II on the side of the living king Ptolemy II. In addition to the cults of Arsinoe under the kingdom of her brother and husband Ptolemy II, I am interested to re-discuss the famous passage of Chremonides' decree where Arsinoe is mentioned among the models of Ptolemy's commitment to Greek freedom.
