Abstract :
[en] Fusarium spp are ubiquitous soil saprophytes and occasional plant pathogens. Fusariosis in humans is usually limited to superficial mycoses. We report the case of a disseminated fungal infection due to Fusarium spp in an immunosuppressed patient suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This report and review of the recent literature suggest that Fusarium spp are emerging fungal pathogens in immunosuppressed patients.
