Abstract :
[en] The most important drugs registered and/or launched in Belgium during the last year in the various disciplines of internal medicine will be briefly described. The main characteristics of each molecule and its modalities of appropriate use in clinical practice will be emphasized. Both the efficacy and safety of these new drugs have been evaluated in randomised controlled trials according to the evidence-based-medicine criteria. Most of them are currently studied in order to further demonstrate their potential benefit on a long-term basis, in large cohort of patients and using hard clinical endpoints.
