Abstract :
[en] In this presentation I offer some observations on selected rules of jurisdiction which have been included in the twin Draft EU Regulations on Matrimonial Assets (Proposals for Regulations on jurisdiction, applicable law and the recognition and enforcement of decisions in matters of matrimonial property regimes and regarding the property consequences of registered partnerships). More specifically, the focus is on Article 5 of the Draft Regulations and on the rules relating to parallel proceedings (art. 9, 12 and 13).
