[en] A particular application of systematic stratified sampling has been developed in order to inventory wind-break distributed in the north of Senegal. To improve the local knowledge of the wind-break the proposed method uses information issued from other wind-break. It gives good estimations of wood volume with a high efficiency. [fr] Une application particulière de l’échantillonnage systématique stratifié a été développée pour réaliser un inventaire des brise-vent dispersés dans le nord du Sénégal. L’originalité de l’approche réside dans l’amélioration de la caractérisation d’un brise-vent grâce à l’intégration partielle de données issues d’autres brise-vent inventoriés. La technique mise en œuvre a permis de déterminer les volumes de bois d’œuvre et de bois de service avec une précision satisfaisante et une efficacité remarquable.
