[en] In 1996, there was a strong turmoil in Belgium when Marc Dutroux was arrested and all his crimes appear at light. A spontaneous movement of citizens against the failure of police investigation gathered three hundred thousand people in a demonstration in Brussel under the sign of "white colour". After this, during two or three years, "white comitees" spontaneously emerged and fuctioned during two or three years. Bur careful anysis of the objectives, methods and practices of those comitees show that this "new democracy" was very ambiguous, a mix of anger, enthusiasm and political naiveness.
