Abstract :
[en] The book is a short practical manual on abdominal ultrasound in the dog and cat. It is written in italian and it is addressed to veterinary practicionners and veterinary students. More than 150 images illustrates the book. Anatomical details, ultrasound technique, ultrasound anatomy and most common abnormal findings anre treated and illustrated for all the abdominal organs including big vessels and lymphnodes. A prectical table to be used in patients afffected by abdominal neoplasia describes lymphnode drainage of the main abdominal organs. Interventional ultrasound-guided procedures are also described and their main avdantages and complications are quoted.
