Abstract :
[en] This panel explores how different patterns of contemporary labour migration across European labour markets, welfare systems, and integration regimes. Bringing together different case studies and methodological perspectives, the panel examines how labour mobility is increasingly tied to broader transformations linked to demographic change, environmental transition, and the restructuring of welfare and labour institutions. The papers discuss the conditions under which migrants access work, training, and social protection and how discourses surrounding productivity, temporariness, and integration shape migrants’ positions within labour markets. They also highlight the role of intermediaries, social networks, and institutional actors in these processes.
