Abstract :
[en] Transformation in the contemporary architectural discourse does not only encompass the animation of form and program, which at the turn of the last century was progressed by deconstructivism and the digital turn. Applicable within aspects of ecology, economy, and culture, transformation has today evolved into a pervasive concept both advanced and abused within the complexity of forces that drive the green transition. To implement visionary prospects for societal change, architecture must contribute with skills and attitudes feasible to mobilize a wide array of tangible solutions for different scales and contexts. The 2025 edition of Lund Architecture Symposium (LAS25) takes transformation as a concept of scrutiny to explore generative positions and action points within the architecture of today and tomorrow.
