Abstract :
[en] This presentation outlines the implementation and impact of Library Mobile, the University of Liège Library's mobile application, launched in 2022 to enhance student engagement and service accessibility. Aimed at aligning library services with students' mobile-first habits, the app integrates existing tools such as Alma, Primo, and LibCal to provide seamless access to the catalogue, room bookings, events, and notifications. The initiative emphasises a user-centred design, leveraging push notifications, static content, and interactive polls to foster engagement. Library Mobile represents a strategic move towards a more visible, interactive, and digital academic library experience, despite facing certain technical and user engagement challenges.
