Abstract :
[en] The first autism resources centers (ARC) opened in 1999 as experimental ones. Since 2006, every district has an ARC. Lack of means (underlined by family associations), and policy will allowed two successive autism projects. We first describe the history of ARC creation, their role and functioning, and a first inventory. Despite of administrative heterogeneity, there is a functioning homogeneity. Information mission will soon be supported by the publication by HAS of basic scientific knowing about autism. Diagnosis mission has been developped but remains unsufficient, as offer creates demand. Research has to be developped, based on ARC network. Difficulties are described. The ARC protect them from quarrels in autism field. A lot of work has been done, but a lot remains : recommendations to professional practice, adults, somatic care.
