[en] This case study investigated the effectiveness of combining transaffirmative voice care with virtual reality to support transgender patients in affirming their gender. To achieve this we employed a multiple-baseline singel-case experimental design (SCED) (Krasni-Pacini & Evans, 2018) with pre-intervention (T0), post-intervention (T1), and follow-up (T2) assessments, as well as five VR-based evluations. We examined vocal parameters, psychological variables and sensitivity to VR. The results indicate that the combination of transaffirmative vocal care and virtual reality promotes the generalization of acquired vocal motor behaviour while reducing psychological and social barriers, thereby enhancing psychological well-being and the transfer of vocal skills to daily life.
