Abstract :
[en] In a biology course on the program for the 1st bachelor's degree in biological and chemical sciences, intersessional revisions for students who failed the 1st session exam in January were organized in May 2022 and May 2023, a few weeks before the June exam. These revisions focused on 4 themes in the subject that were particularly difficult for the students. Students are required to register for the themes in which they wish to participate. These revisions focus on active student participation, identification and analysis of difficulties and errors, and identification and clarification of expectations. A significant proportion of students who presented the June exam had taken part in at least one revision session. The June success rate was higher in the group of students who had taken part in at least one revision session than in those who had not. However, the difference between the two groups was not significant. The average June grade obtained by students who attended at least one revision is higher than the student average who did not attend any revision, and this is significant at the 10% threshold in 2022 and at the 5% threshold in 2023. The results of an inquiry of students who have taken part in revisions are also very positive. These preliminary results encourage us to continue implementing this system and evaluating its effectiveness.
