Abstract :
[en] The contribution focuses on the specific design mechanisms generated by the experiment in the Karreveld School project with reused and dismountable construction elements, not only as a pragmatic approach to sustainability and economical constraints, but as an alternative way to think the design process of a project itself. What does reuse allow in the development of a project? How does it change the nature of the project itself, its ambitions and its processes, as embodied actions? And how does it radically change the use of space, imbued by singular qualities, inviting for appropriation?
