The contribution focuses on the specific design mechanisms generated by the experiment in the Karreveld School project with reused and dismountable construction elements, not only as a pragmatic approach to sustainability and economical constraints, but as an alternative way to think the design process of a project itself. What does reuse allow in the development of a project? How does it change the nature of the project itself, its ambitions and its processes, as embodied actions?
