[en] This chapter proposes a complete overview of the key elements that characterize an efficient financial management in familly businesses. It proposes a synthesis of the main findings coming from the series of empirical researches conducted by the KMO StudieCentrum in Brussels and the "Centre de Recherche PME" in Liège with the funding of the King Baudouin Foundation between 1988 and 1993.
