Abstract :

[en] Ultrasonography is necessary to diagnose and differentiate soft tissues injuries of the palmar aspect of fetlock and pastern and completes the examination in cases with radiographic abnormalities on the proximal sesamoid bones. This paper reviews some of the injuries which can involve the anatomical structures of the palmar fetlock and pastern regions.
