Abstract :
[en] We demonstrate here that drugs which inactivate cytochrome c oxidase are able to segregate cardiolipin essential for the enzyme activity, in a separate phase inaccessible for the enzyme. A molecular explanation of the drug-induced aggregation process is proposed.
