Abstract :
[es] Este artículo analiza las colecciones masivas de imágenes archivadas en la web y en las diferentes plataformas de museos y bibliotecas. Imágenes que han pasado a estar disponibles gracias a la digitalización masiva y que se analizan a través del enfoque cuantitativo y computacional de la visión artificial. La idea es aquella de la memoria de las formas, entendida como la transmisión de una imagen a otra de organizaciones espaciales y motivos recurrentes en la historia del arte. En cierto modo, la imagen consistiría en fuerzas que pueden ser reactivadas por otras imágenes que las mantienen en la memoria y las siguen desarrollando. El texto recupera los escritos fundamentales de Aby Warburg y Henri Focillon sobre la supervivencia de las formas, el intervalo de reactivación y la genealogía. Mi reflexión pretende dotar a las imágenes de memoria, de una capacidad de retener formas del pasado y de renovarlas transformándolas. [en] This article deals with the Image Big Data stored in the different platforms of
museums and libraries, images that have become available thanks to massive digitisation
and that are analysed through the quantitative and computational approach of Computer
Vision. The idea is that of the memory of forms, understood as the transmission from
one image to another of spatial organisations and motifs recurring in the history of art.
In a sense, the image would consist of forces that can be reactivated by other images that
hold them in memory and develop them further. The text refers to seminal texts by Aby
Warburg and Henri Focillon on the survival of forms, the interval of reactivation, and
genealogy. My proposal aims to endow images with memory, with a capacity to retain
forms from the past and to renew them, transforming them.
