Abstract :
[en] The relationship between the position of the leaf on the stem of the everbearing strawberry and its number of teeth was studied, and the results are recorded graphically. It is concluded that by the use of such a graph the stage of development of the plant can be calculated. The moment at which it will flower or its ultimate failure to flower can be anticipated. The age of the seed will also be reflected in the graph, as plants from old seed reach the flowering stage more slowly than those from fresh seed.
