Abstract :
[en] The paper is focussed on the treatises by Bartolomeo di Benincà da Ferrara (better known as Bartolomeo Miniatore). In detail, the contribution provides clarifications on the events that led to the printing of the Formulario di epistole missive e responsive (Ugo Ruggeri, 1485). It deals with two new witnesses of the collection of form letters transmitted by the already known mss. London, British Library, Harley 4168 and Harley 5271, and provides information about three new collections of form letters almost certainly realized by Bartolomeo. Furthermore, new information is provided on Bartolomeo’s biography, and in particular on his friendship with members of the Bolognini family, that have allowed him to realize the ms. Bologna, Biblioteca Universitaria, 226 (the wellknown letters-collection for Astorre II Manfredi, lord of Faenza).
[it] Il contributo intende offrire una panoramica sulla produzione trattatistica di Bartolomeo di Benincà da Ferrara, meglio noto come Bartolomeo Miniatore. Nel dettaglio, si forniscono precisazioni sulle vicende che portarono alla stampa del Formulario di epistole missive e responsive (Ugo Ruggeri, 1485); si dà notizia di due nuovi testimoni del formulario di exordia epistolarum trasmesso dai già noti mss. Londra, British library, Harley 4168 e Harley 5271; si riconducono all’attività trattatistica di Bartolomeo tre nuove raccolte, trasmesse una in forma manoscritta e due a stampa; si forniscono notizie inedite sulla biografia di Bartolomeo, e in particolare sulle sue frequentazioni felsinee con i membri della famiglia Bolognini, che gli varranno la committenza del ms. Bologna, Biblioteca Universitaria, 226 (il noto formulario per Astorre II Manfredi).
