Abstract :
[en] This paper contributes to the discussion around what is new in Museology and Museum Studies. We argue here that the most innovative element in the field is the commitment of Museology to social transformation, from its identification with applied
social sciences, with action-research and with the premise that the museologist is a
social worker (Rússio in Bruno, 2010). It also performs a critique of collection-centric
Museology, remembering that being socially oriented is no longer a matter for specific types of museums, but an approach that should permeate all types of museums.
Finally, we defend that social and ecosystemic museologies are more aligned with
contemporary values and can better respond to preparing for the future. [tr] Bu makale müzelerde ve müzecilik çalışmalarında yeni olanın tartışılmasına katkıda
bulunmaktadır. Müzeolojinin sosyal değişime adanmışlığı, sosyal bilimlerle bağlan tısı, eylem araştırmasıyla bağlantısı ve müzecilerin sosyal hizmetler çalışanı kabul
edilmelerinin (Rússio in Bruno, 2010) alandaki en yenilikçi yaklaşımlar olduğunu öne
süreceğiz. Ayrıca koleksiyon merkezli müzeolojinin bir kritiği yapılacak ve toplum
odaklı olmanın sadece bazı müzeler için geçerli olmadığına vurgu yapılacaktır. Sonuç
olarak, toplumsal ve ekolojik müzeolojinin günümüz değerleri ile daha bağlantılı
olduğuna ve gelecek için hazırlıklara daha çok katkıda bulunduğunu savunacağız.
