Abstract :
[en] Is your library as smart and mobile as your users? Everyone has a smartphone in their pockets these days that gives them highly personalized experiences. But when they arrive at your library website, that personalized experience ends. But it doesn't need to be this way. During the virtual panel discussion speakers Angela Walker, Digital Library Manager at the University of Salford, and François Renaville, Head of Library Systems at the University of Liège, will describe the impact that addressing digital user expectations had on their libraries. They will discuss how offering an intuitive mobile application provided on-demand access to library content and services. And, how it strengthened their libraries' position in the heart of research and teaching, and made it easier for on-the-go patrons.
