Abstract :
[en] The time is ripe for a Belgian hadron therapy centre. The medical advantages are well documented. The scientific and technical conditions are present.The political will is expected as well as the necessary funding. All the radiotherapy departments of Belgian Universities, acting as organizers of this meeting, support the project. The Foundation against Cancer will act as a catalyst to make it a reality.
