Abstract :
[en] From the second half of the XVIIIth Dynasty is attested a well known corpus of small figurines depicting monkeys imitating various human activities, such as playing music, dancing or even driving a chariot. This last activity, driving chariot, forms a subcorpus especially interesting to study in order to improve our understanding of the social and cultural reception of chariot’s technology in the Egyptian civilization.
