Abstract :
[en] The Louvre keep in its storeroom an atypical artifact under the inventory number AF 13446. Inscribed with the name of a King Menkheperre, it takes the general shape of a dagger blade. The present article includes a detailed description of this atypical object; a few lines are also devoted to the two analogues that are known to exist. The authenticity of the three unusual looking objects is then discussed. Finally, hypotheses are formulated about their dating, nature and function, assuming that the objects are indeed ancient.
