[en] Liège has long been a breeding ground for "scientists", some very popular, others less despite having played an important role in their time. The district of Fragnée honors two electricians: Z. Gramme and M. Gloesener, the first ultra known, the other much less and yet the region owes him a lot from an industrial point of view.
