[en] With her presentation "Overview of the Posthuman (Literary) Scholarship", Carole Guesse will propose an introduction to the concept of the posthuman and its corresponding theoretical and/or ideological discourses (mainly posthumanism and transhumanism). Specifically, Carole will look at how (Modern, but not only) literary studies and scholars have developed and studied this concept and these discourses. Her main goal is to provide scholars from outside the field with tools to navigate this wide, complex and sometimes contradicting scholarship in order to help them find how their own research could benefit from a posthumanist perspective.
