Abstract :
[en] Heart donation after circulatory death is a clinical reality. It can help to expand the organ donor pool. The implementation of such a program requires not only a multidisciplinary dedicated team, but also strict selection donor and recipient criteria. In addition, a simple protocol is also recommended. However, several ethical issues need to be addressed to allow a wider adoption of heart donation after circulatory death.
