Abstract :
[en] The optical polarization properties of both low- and high-luminosity active galactic nuclei (AGN) are described, focusing on the origin of the polarization and its relation to the AGN structure, in particular the geometry of the scattering regions. State-of-the-art modeling, polarization reverberation and microlensing, as well as the polarization of changing-look AGNs will be discussed.
