Abstract :
[en] 241 million tons of municipal solid waste (MSW) is generated annually in the European Union (data from 2014), which produce 16 million tons of MSW incineration bottom ash (MSWIBA) per annum. Due to the promotion of waste recycling, the use of MSWIBA as construction materials has gained much attention during the last decade. In this paper, the use of MSWIBA as aggregate for roller compacted concrete has been assessed.
