Abstract :
[en] On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the death of the humanist Paulo Duarte and because of the magnitude of his actions as a defender of causes related to culture and heritage, this article aims to present the figure of the lawyer and journalist also to a more diverse audience that is not confined to academia or the field of archeology. So, different approaches about the thought and action of the intellectual who established a close relationship between the heritage, nationality, territoriality, identity and community among other possible thematic can be raised.
