Abstract :
[en] The Cameroon Association for Translation Studies (ACTRACATRAS) was founded in Yaoundé, Cameroon on 15 April 2018 by a group of university lecturers, scholars, and practioners in the fields of translation, interpreting, terminology. The founding members had a vision and a mission, that is to promote research and disseminate valuable and reliable information about the main fields related to language, cultures, translation and communication. To make this come true, we have been designing and building a journal to serve as both our flagship initiative and a platform where translation enthusiasts around the globe can share their common passion, discover new trends and bring in their valuable inputs.
