Roi Lear; H.G. Wells; Blindness
Abstract :
[en] This article shows that the Land of the Blind of Wells can be read as a rewriting of King Lear by Shakespeare. Between the two stories, we find a dystopian elsewhere, with strata close to Deleuzian theories. Both writings were staged of a common original sin linked to knowledge, but also to pride. Both share a form of revolt against the established order.
