Abstract :
[en] The diagnosis of osteoarthritis is based on clinical and radiological features that are apparent at an irreversible stage of the disease. It is important to diagnose osteoarthritis before the appearance of radio-clinical signs, during the silent phase of the disease. This so-called " molecular "phase is characterized by changes in the metabolism of articular tissues. These soluble biological markers reflect these metabolic changes. Unfortunately, there is currently no protein marker with sufficient specificity and sensitivity to be used clinically to diagnose the disease early or predict its evolution. The search for new markers, but also new tools for detecting these markers in biological fluids, are necessary. Recently, proteomic analyzes associated with bioinformatic have allowed the identification of biological signatures of osteoarthritis. This article summarizes the state of the art and recent findings on soluble markers of osteoarthritis. He also offers some reflections on the research carried out in this field. © 2018 All rights reserved.
