Abstract :
[en] The paper examines the process of recovery of the consciousness as an adequate object for the psychological study, and offers a critical revision of the commonly accepted view of a complete silence on that topic in the decades that preceded the onset of the cognitive revolution. The author examines the contributions of some authors like J. Piaget, L. Vygotsky, R. Zazzo, and also of some well known behaviorists like K. Lashley and B.F. Skinner, in whose works can be found significant references to consciousness. This seems to be an effect of the neglect by researchers of the history of their own science
