Abstract :
[en] In Les impostures intellectuelles, SOKAL and BRICMONT warned against putting poorly mastered metaphors drawn from physics and mathematics to use in the social sciences. Naturally, it is advisable to be watchful and rigorous. This does not mean, however, that it is necessary to give up comparing disciplines belonging to different fields. The contributions of chaos theory to psychiatry and psychology are worthy of our attention and interest.
