[en] Hypopituitarism is an uncommon condition with a prevalence of nearly 50 per 100 000. Historically, Sheehan syndrome and pituitary apoplexy were important causes of hypopituitarism at the beginning of the 20ts century. Then, pituitary tumours, pituitary surgery, radiotherapy and infiltrative diseases become the main causes. Recently, other causes such as traumatic brain injury and subarachnoid haemorrhage, autoimmune hypophysitis caused by immune checkpoint agents, genetic causes such as Kallmann Syndrome are increasingly recognised. This workshop is dedicated to specialists in internal medicine. Several cases of hypopituitarism will be discussed and commented , with a review of the recent litterature.
