Abstract :
[en] this research, part of the Rede de Museus e Acervos Arqueológicos e Etnográficos (REMAAE), aims to survey the curatorial conditions for archaeological collections in Brazil’s midwesten. We identified institutions, types of collections, structures, safeguarding processes, packaging, and dissemination of knowledge from the application of a questionnaire and literature study. The article presents some preliminary results and prospects for this research.
