Abstract :
[en] Structure-based imaging is efficient for the characterisation of e.g. fracture geometry, but this must be questioned, when the interpretation of the late-time tailing is from interest. Then process-based imaging, using as smart tracer for example hot water (i.e. heat) is more promising. Once the aquifer temperature is high (e.g. 30 °C) hot water injections should be better replace by cold water injections. In the framework of the annual H+ Network meeting, first interpretations of the fieldwork at the Choutuppal test site in India near by Hyderabad are presented. It was given a first comparison between hot and cold water injection observations from a joint fieldwork. Co-Authors to be mentioned: Wajid Uddin, Pascal Goderniaux, Alain Dassargues, Jean-Christophe Maréchal, Virendra M. Tiwari, Adrien Selles.
