Abstract :
[en] Multicomponent reactions (MCRs), in which three or more compounds react and form a product containing essentially all atoms of the starting reagents, have been thoroughly exploited in organic synthesis for preparing complex molecules. However, their use in polymer science remained limited until recently. For example, Ugi-four component (Ugi-4CR) was used to synthesize α-amido amide containing polymers. Our research aims to explore the potential of a variant of the Ugi MCR, namely the Ugi-three component reaction (Ugi-3CR), in the field of polymer and to prepare macromolecules containing α-amino amide structure.
